What happened: Cleveland travels to Tennessee on Sunday for a regular-season matchup centered on getting Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson into an early rhythm against a struggling Titans offense led by Cam Ward amid a difficult start. Analyst Lance Reisland evaluated the rookie wide receiver matchup by rating Cleveland's Denzel Boston ahead of Tennessee's Carnell Tate entering Sunday's contest. Special teams execution also looms as a swing factor between the two clubs.

Why it matters: Both franchises have invested heavily at the top of the draft to stabilize their passing attacks, with Tennessee pairing 2025 first overall pick Ward with 2026 first-rounder Tate. Cleveland countered by adding Boston in the second round of the 2026 NFL Draft to give Watson, originally the 12th overall pick in 2017 out of Clemson, a physical perimeter target.

What to watch: The Browns and Titans kick off Sunday in Tennessee, with early-down passing efficiency for Watson and Ward alongside special teams field position shaping the outcome.
