"Ever since growing up I've always been like prove the people right who believe in me." - @brian_oneill_ on the #Vikings Via @Vikings on X

What happened: O'Neill said Minnesota's commitment reinforces his lifelong drive to reward those who believe in him. The right tackle also said he wants to spend his entire career with the Vikings.

Why it matters: The agreement keeps an established offensive-line leader in place entering the 2026 season. O'Neill turns 31 in September and remains central to Minnesota's protection plans.

By the numbers: The extension averages $24 million per year and leaves O'Neill under contract for five seasons. He has started 120 of 124 games since Minnesota drafted him in 2018 and has earned two Pro Bowl selections.

What to watch: Training camp will show how O'Neill anchors Minnesota's offensive front under its new coaching structure.
