What happened: Cleveland opened with a three-play series for minus-3 yards before punting, then followed with possessions of five plays for 10 yards and six plays for 17 yards. A subsequent five-play, 27-yard drive also ended in a punt with the game in progress.

Why it matters: Although the offense gained more yardage on each successive possession—moving from minus-3 yards to 10, 17, and 27—none of the drives produced points to trim the 10-0 deficit.

What to watch: Play remains in progress as the Browns look to sustain a drive into scoring territory for their first points of the game.
