What happened: Boston moved forward Andre Gasseau's signing rights to San Jose in a draft-pick swap. The deal sends Gasseau and the No. 120 pick in the 2026 NHL Draft to the Sharks, with the Bruins receiving picks No. 104 and No. 157.

Why it matters: The move gives Boston a small move-up in the middle rounds while San Jose adds another forward option to its prospect pool. It also continues a busy draft-board stretch for the San Jose Sharks after recent pick movement around the 2026 draft.

What to watch: Watch whether San Jose signs Gasseau before the draft. Boston's next move is how it uses the extra pick volume in the middle rounds.
