What happened: Brayden Burries said his Summer League run with the Bucks "has been great," pointing to the added game reps as he works to improve each outing. The comments from Milwaukee's No. 10 pick came as the Bucks continue auditioning their rookie class in Las Vegas.

Why it matters: The minutes matter for a Bucks front office reshaping its roster this offseason, with Burries drawing notice for delivering in high-leverage moments rather than just accumulating garbage-time reps. His play adds to Milwaukee's evaluation of its rookie class ahead of the 2026-27 season.

By the numbers: Burries scored a team-high 18 points in his Summer League debut and delivered a game-winning basket in a later outing.

What to watch: Burries and the Bucks continue Summer League play in Las Vegas with more evaluation minutes ahead of training camp.
