What happened: Michal Postava made a late regulation save to preserve a tie and force overtime. The appearance was his first NHL start.

Why it matters: Forcing overtime secured at least a standings point from his debut. A late stop under tie-game pressure is a substantive early test for a debuting goaltender.

What to watch: Overtime decides the second point, with his response in the extra period the next measure.
