What happened: Through seven weeks of 2026, Joe Burrow has completed 157 of 219 passes for 1,653 yards, 15 touchdowns and three interceptions. He threw four touchdowns in the second half of a Week 7 comeback win.

Why it matters: PFF ranks his grade second among qualifying quarterbacks. In PFF's 2020-25 sample, his 95.5 passing grade from Week 8 through the playoffs led 28 qualifying quarterbacks.

By the numbers: Burrow's seven-week passing line yields a 71.7% completion rate and a 5-to-1 touchdown-to-interception ratio. His 5.4% negatively graded play rate is the lowest among qualifying quarterbacks.

What to watch: His next starts will test whether that efficiency holds as the MVP race develops.
