What happened: During a Week 7 Inside the NFL Mic'd Up exchange, Caleb Williams encouraged Rome Odunze following the receiver's flag. Odunze answered by adjusting to a back-shoulder pass that Williams layered over an underneath defender.

Why it matters: Chemistry between the 2024 first-round selections, drafted No. 1 and No. 9 overall, drives the downfield passing attack during the 2026 regular season. Odunze entered July camp with questions surrounding his foot before settling into the vertical offense.

What to watch: Williams and Odunze now prepare for their upcoming Thursday regular-season game.
