What happened: After speaking with Caleb Williams ahead of his return to the starting role, ESPN's Lindsey Thiry noted that the quarterback will "absolutely" take off and run if forced to scramble.

Why it matters: Mobility outside the pocket remains a central part of the 2024 No. 1 overall pick's game as he re-enters the lineup. Per ESPN, Williams completed 330 of 568 passes for 3,942 yards with 27 touchdowns and seven interceptions across 17 games in 2025.

What to watch: Williams' willingness to extend plays on the move will be a focal point when he takes the field in his return to the lineup.
