What happened: Sporting KC brought Calvin on for Capita to open the second half following a solo halftime warmup. Stephen was also shown a yellow card in the 46th minute with the match deadlocked.

Why it matters: Capita is working his way back from an injury, making a planned halftime exit a controlled step in managing his recovery workload. Introducing fresh legs at the break gives the attack a spark to push for an opening goal in the second half.

By the numbers: Capita logged 45 minutes before exiting, building on a 29-minute stint in his previous outing.

What to watch: Sporting KC plays out the final 44 minutes seeking a breakthrough goal while evaluating Capita's recovery ahead of his next appearance.
