What happened: Chicago Fire posted a 3-2 result over Atlanta United to reach the 50-point threshold across back-to-back MLS campaigns.

Why it matters: Reaching 50 points in consecutive seasons happens for just the second time in Chicago club history, matching a franchise benchmark that had stood since the 2000-01 span.

What to watch: MLS postseason action continues across the 2026 bracket as clubs turn toward the next round of fixtures.
