“[Aaron Rodgers] is a student of the game.” 🧠 Cam Heyward gives praise to his QB and explains how vital he has been to Via @ESPNNFL on X

What happened: Speaking on The Rich Eisen Show, defensive tackle Cam Heyward, who also discussed his international venue wish list, credited quarterback Aaron Rodgers' preparation as a driving force behind the Steelers' success. The endorsement comes on the heels of Sunday's road victory over the New Orleans Saints.

Why it matters: With wide receiver Roman Wilson on injured reserve, Pittsburgh elevated Brandon Smith and Brandon Johnson last week while activating safety DeShon Elliott from a knee injury. The front office is actively exploring wide receiver trades to reinforce a roster Rodgers described in September as Super Bowl-caliber.

By the numbers: Pittsburgh beat New Orleans 16-10 on Oct. 25, extending its winning streak to three games and claiming the No. 6 seed in the 2026 playoff picture.

What to watch: The Steelers have until the Nov. 10 NFL trade deadline to acquire help at wide receiver.
