The praise for Nix in this camp from teammates has been glowing. Now, can he live up to the expectations? Via @TroyRenck on X

What happened: Alex Singleton said Bo Nix is “playing out of his mind” as the regular season approaches. Teammates have delivered similarly glowing assessments throughout camp.

Why it matters: Nix’s previous season ended when a fractured right ankle kept him out of the conference title game. His performance, rather than his availability, is now the defining question entering 2026.

By the numbers: Nix’s preseason average depth of target increased by 4.3 yards per attempt.

What to watch: Regular-season defenses will provide the first meaningful test of whether the camp progress carries over.
