Cardinals ruled out RB Jeremiyah Love (ankle) for Sunday’s game vs the Rams. Via @AdamSchefter on X

What happened: Arizona listed the ankle as the reason for the Sunday absence against Los Angeles. Love missed his second straight practice Thursday entering the decision.

Why it matters: Love was drafted third overall out of Notre Dame as Arizona's lead rookie back. His absence leaves Tyler Allgeier to handle early-down work in a division game.

By the numbers: Draft: No. 3 overall in 2026 (Notre Dame). Depth chart: RB2 behind Tyler Allgeier. Practices missed: 2 straight before ruling.

What to watch: Watch next week's practice participation and how Arizona divides carries against the Rams.
