Cardinals RB Jeremiyah Love is OUT for Week 6. Mike LaFleur says there is no discussion of placing him on IR though. Via @FieldYates on X

What happened: Arizona will play Week 6 without Jeremiyah Love, its rookie running back drafted third overall in 2026 out of Notre Dame. Mike LaFleur said the team has not discussed placing Love on injured reserve.

Why it matters: The absence removes a first-round backfield option for a 1-4 Arizona offense. How the Cardinals redistribute carries will define their Week 6 game plan.

By the numbers: Love was the No. Arizona enters Week 6 at 1-4.

What to watch: Arizona's next practice status will clarify Love's availability for Week 7. The Week 6 backfield split will show the short-term plan.
