What happened: MLS's Matchday 25 roundup singles out Cavan Sullivan for reaching new heights as his club puts together the hottest run in the Eastern Conference. The 16-year-old has scored in three straight matches, including a backheel finish just before halftime, and has kept his scoring streak alive.

Why it matters: Sullivan's continued production keeps his club atop the East's form table as the playoff picture tightens down the stretch. At 16, sustained multi-goal-contribution output over a stretch of matches is a marker clubs weigh heavily in late-season roster and minutes decisions.

What to watch: Sullivan and his club look to extend the run into the next matchday as the Eastern Conference race continues.
