What happened: Columbus converted on a fast break with Gonzalo Tapia, who scored and assisted in his first Hell is Real derby, slotting home the finish at the end of the transition move.

Why it matters: Since beginning work with the club on Aug. 21, the forward has delivered recurring attacking production across the stretch run. Earlier contributions earned him a Matchday 24 bench selection on Sept. 8 before Courtois took Coach of the Week honors alongside him on Oct. 19.

What to watch: Columbus continues its 2026 MLS postseason campaign with Tapia featuring in the club's transition attack.
