Why it matters: With only a half-game separating the two clubs in the AFC West race, Sunday's meeting carries immediate divisional and conference seeding stakes. Denver enters on a three-game winning streak following a road victory at Arizona, while Kansas City looks to rebound from a 17-point loss in Seattle.

By the numbers: Kansas City Chiefs: 5-1 record, AFC No. 1 seed, L1 streak (lost 20-3 at Seattle on Oct. 25). Denver Broncos: 5-2 record, AFC No. 5 seed, W3 streak (won 30-16 at Arizona on Oct. 25).

What to watch: The NFL Today and The NFL Today+ will air live from Denver on Sunday, Nov. 1, ahead of kickoff between Kansas City and Denver.
