Year 1: First season in the WNBA Year 2: Champions? The Valkyries are one win away from securing a championship in just Via @NBA on X

What happened: The best-of-seven championship series shifts to Atlanta after the Valkyries broke a 2-2 deadlock with a Game 5 victory. The Dream now face elimination on home court and must win to force a deciding seventh game.

Why it matters: Atlanta is fighting to extend its first Finals appearance since 2013 after dropping consecutive games. A road victory would complete Golden State's title run without returning home for a finale.

By the numbers: Golden State trailed the series 2-1 before holding Atlanta to 55 points in a 64-55 Game 4 win and taking the lead in Game 5.

What to watch: Game 6 tips off Thursday at 12:30 p.m. ET on USA and Peacock.
