What happened: Canada was downgraded to out ahead of Sunday's road game. The TCU product is a rookie defensive back whose recent work has included special teams.

Why it matters: The change cuts into secondary depth and removes a special-teams option for this week. A late-week downgrade to out also forces a full game-day replacement instead of leaving open the possibility of a limited role.

What to watch: Sunday's inactive list will show how those snaps are redistributed. The next practice report will indicate whether Canada is back in the mix after this game.
