What happened: The Los Angeles Chargers remain the only winless team across the NFL following Week 8 action. Los Angeles dropped to 0-7 on the season after suffering another defeat Sunday.

Why it matters: The continued slide leaves Los Angeles anchored at the bottom of the standings with postseason contention rapidly slipping away. Despite outside trade interest ahead of the Nov. 10 deadline, the front office has consistently rebuffed inquiries for key players.

What to watch: The Chargers turn toward Week 9 looking to secure their first victory of the year before the Nov. 10 trade deadline.
