What happened: Pete Prisco named Jacksonville wideout Brian Thomas Jr. as his top deep-threat target for Kansas City. It was pitched as a fit, not as an agreed deal.

Why it matters: Kansas City seeks more vertical juice at receiver. Jacksonville's stance on its young wideout decides if the idea gains traction.

What to watch: Whether Jacksonville listens and whether Kansas City acts will determine if this goes beyond suggestion.
