What happened: Kansas City downgraded cornerback Mansoor Delane to out for Sunday's game at Denver with a shoulder injury, per Adam Schefter. The Chiefs had listed him as questionable. He was not practicing Friday, per Nate Taylor.

Why it matters: Delane, the No. 6 overall pick in the 2026 draft out of LSU, had been listed questionable alongside L'Jarius Sneed ahead of the game. Kansas City is 5-1 and the No. 1 seed after a 20-3 loss at Seattle on Oct. 25.

What to watch: The Chiefs also list defensive lineman Norman-Lott out, and R Mason Thomas is traveling to Denver separately from the team for a personal reason.
