What happened: The remark aired via SNFonNBC on Oct. 6. Robinson entered 2026 as Atlanta's lead back after going eighth overall in 2023 out of Texas.

Why it matters: MVP chatter tracks early backfield production, including a combined 5-touchdown game against New Orleans. Atlanta kept Robinson as one of two backs on the 53-man roster, centralizing his workload.

By the numbers: Falcons backfield combined for 5 touchdowns against New Orleans on Oct. 6.

What to watch: Watch Atlanta's next game for workload split and red-zone usage.
