What happened: Hunter has shifted to full-time cornerback duty for Jacksonville. He played only defense against Cincinnati on Oct. 5.

Why it matters: Jacksonville drafted Hunter second overall in 2025 out of Colorado as a two-way player. He caught 28 passes for 298 yards and one touchdown in seven games in 2025, making a defense-only role a clear depth-chart call.

By the numbers: 2025 with Jacksonville: 7 games, 28 catches, 298 yards, 1 TD. Draft: 2nd overall in 2025, Colorado.

What to watch: Watch whether Jacksonville keeps the defense-only deployment and tests Hunter against No. 1 receivers.
