What happened: Patriots LB Christian Elliss said New England used spring work to mesh with newcomers such as A.J. Brown and build a platform for the next stage of the offseason. The comments keep the focus on integration after a spring reshaping of the roster.

Why it matters: For the Patriots, the next step is turning offseason installation into training-camp execution before the 2026 season. A.J. Brown remains the headline addition in that process, making chemistry one of New England's central summer storylines.

What to watch: Training camp will show how quickly the Patriots' new pieces translate spring work into full-speed reps. Brown's role in the offense will be one of the clearest markers to watch.
