What happened: Ohio State revisited <a href='https://wire.report/article/cj-stroud-emphasizes-being-himself-before-opener-2026-09-13'>C.J. Stroud's</a> 2022 game against Indiana. That season was his last in Columbus before entering the NFL.

Why it matters: The game sits in his final college season before the move to Houston. That college production continues to frame his early professional evaluation during the 2026 campaign.

What to watch: Houston continues through the October regular-season schedule. Stroud's next start is the current measuring point.
