What happened: 247Sports issued its midseason Top247 update for the class of 2028. Kellan Hall and Casey Barner received five-star designations and join Kameron McGee at that tier.

Why it matters: Five-star status sets the early order for 2028 recruiting boards ahead of junior-season evaluations. The update also installed new No. 1 players at multiple positions per the midseason 2028 Top247 update.

What to watch: Junior-season production and offseason camp showings will drive movement in the next rankings release.
