What happened: Caitlin Clark became the first player in WNBA history to record a 40-point, 10-assist game, finishing with 41 points in Indiana's game against Seattle. The mark capped a night that also saw her reach 200 career three-pointers in 74 games, the fastest pace in league history.

Why it matters: The 40-point, 10-assist line is unprecedented in league history and lands weeks after Alyssa Thomas served a one-game ban for contact with Clark's throat. The performance underscores Clark's expanding offensive workload for Indiana this season.

What to watch: Indiana moves on to its next matchup with Clark's scoring and playmaking pace now the league benchmark.
