What happened: The Colorado Rapids visited Welby Community School earlier this week as part of the club's Rapids Reading Days initiative. Representative Nico Hansen met with students to promote literacy alongside community partner Colorado Potatoes.

Why it matters: The event continues Colorado's community outreach across local schools, following a similar program where the Rapids hosted a youth clinic at Adams City Middle School in June. The appearance also comes during a critical stretch for the club as it prepares for postseason competition.

What to watch: On the pitch, the Rapids travel to face FC Dallas at Toyota Stadium, where a victory secures their place in the postseason.
