What happened: Head coach Shane Steichen announced Friday that tight end Tyler Warren, cornerback Sauce Gardner (calf), and wide receiver Anthony Gould (concussion) will not play Sunday against Minnesota. Warren sat out Thursday's practice with a questionable tag after Indianapolis held him out on Oct. 18. Gould missed both Wednesday and Thursday sessions, while Gardner carried a doubtful designation after a Monday MRI revealed a mild left calf strain.

Why it matters: The triple absence hits an Indianapolis roster coming off a 26-20 loss to the Tennessee Titans on Oct. 18. Sitting Warren removes a primary offensive target selected 14th overall in the 2025 NFL Draft out of Penn State, while Gardner's calf injury leaves the secondary without the fourth overall pick of the 2022 NFL Draft. Gould's absence also sidelines a 2024 fifth-round pick signed by the Colts on Sept. 26, 2026.

By the numbers: Indianapolis stands at 2-4 overall (seed 12) on a two-game losing streak entering Week 7 of the 2026 regular season.

What to watch: Indianapolis faces Minnesota on Sunday while continuing to evaluate Gardner on a week-to-week basis.
