What happened: Mike Garafolo and Steve Wyche report Laremy Tunsil tore his triceps during one-on-one pass-rush drills and will likely require surgery. Adam Schefter says Josh Conerly is expected to stay at right tackle, while Brandon Coleman had already moved from left tackle to guard.

Why it matters: Washington must replace a five-time Pro Bowl blocker before the 2026 regular season. Keeping Conerly on the right would limit the reshuffling to one tackle spot.

What to watch: The Commanders are gathering information on Tunsil's recovery timeline. Wylie's first-team work at left tackle will show whether the projected alignment holds.
