What happened: Washington Commanders running back Jeremy McNichols, defensive tackle Daron Payne, and defensive tackle Javon Kinlaw are out for the season and facing potential surgeries. The trio was previously placed on injured reserve on Tuesday following injuries sustained in Washington's 27-10 victory over Philadelphia.

Why it matters: Losing both Payne and Kinlaw strips Washington of its primary interior defensive line rotation heading into the second half of the schedule. The injuries severely test Washington's roster depth as the Nov. 10 trade deadline approaches.

What to watch: Washington turns to depth options along the defensive front and backfield ahead of the Nov. 10 trade deadline.
