What happened: Washington made the move Oct. 20 during the 2026 regular season. Hall joined the practice squad Oct. 7 and was elevated for the Oct. 10 game after clearing a Sept. 8 injured-reserve release from Atlanta.

Why it matters: The move opens a practice-squad spot in the secondary amid regular-season churn. The brief stint, with an elevation and no active-roster commitment, leaves Washington's safety depth unchanged.

What to watch: Washington can fill the open practice-squad spot ahead of its next game.
