What happened: The Dallas Cowboys prepare to face quarterback Daniel Jones, drawing on divisional history from his seasons with the New York Giants. Jones has struggled with turnovers through the air, while Dallas has collected interceptions exclusively from linebackers rather than defensive backs.

Why it matters: Dallas aims to rebound defensively after dropping a 33-30 decision against the Arizona Cardinals. Generating pressure against Jones provides Dallas an opportunity to force turnovers after scrutiny mounted following an early loss to the Giants. A breakthrough takeaway from the defensive backfield would relieve pressure on the Dallas coverage unit.

What to watch: Dallas continues preparations to see whether its defensive backs can secure an interception against Jones.
