What happened: The Dallas Cowboys opened nominations for the 2026 Fan of the Year. Fans can nominate themselves or another Cowboys supporter through the team's entry form. The winner receives a VIP experience, a new mobile device and custom swag.

Why it matters: The honor spotlights fan culture alongside the 2026 regular season. It follows last month's VIP game-day honor nominations as part of the club's supporter recognition. The program gives one supporter a formal role in team festivities.

What to watch: Watch for finalists to be announced as the selection process advances.
