Put in a shift in the midfield 👏 Cristian Roldan is your @Toyota Man of the Match from #SEAvRBNY! https://t.co/BxsDCG6q Via @SoundersFC on X

What happened: Roldan started in midfield and wore the captain's armband. He had returned from a quad injury as a 57th-minute substitute in the previous match.

Why it matters: The point left the club three points below a playoff position, with games in hand on most teams it is chasing. Roldan's return to the starting lineup restores an experienced option for the regular-season run-in.

By the numbers: The club has taken two points from consecutive home draws, 2-2 and 0-0.

What to watch: Watch whether Roldan retains his starting role and the captain's armband in the next match.
