What happened: A fan poll asks supporters to identify which veteran reliever Chicago Cubs President of Baseball Operations Jed Hoyer should pursue at the trade deadline. The survey seeks input on potential additions to the team's bullpen.

Why it matters: Chicago is evaluating potential moves to sustain a strong midseason push, as the Cubs look to stabilize their roster for the second half of the year. Adding a reliable late-inning arm could provide critical depth.

What to watch: The results of the fan vote regarding preferred bullpen targets will be published later this week.
