What happened: Prescott earned an 87.8 grade over 145 qualifying dropbacks, with nine big-time throws and four turnover-worthy plays. PFF defines clutch snaps as fourth-quarter or overtime plays within a 14-point deficit or eight-point lead, excluding garbage time.

Why it matters: Only 22.8% of qualifying quarterback seasons in PFF's database have exceeded 75.0, putting both finishers in uncommon territory. Prescott has cleared 70.0 in six of 10 qualifying seasons, while Allen has done so in five of eight.

By the numbers: Prescott's 87.8 grade was 6.6 points higher than Allen's 81.2. Prescott averaged 8.1 yards per attempt in clutch situations; Allen averaged 8.5.

What to watch: The next test is whether the late-game results carry into the 2026 season.
