What happened: Week 7 took place at the Meta APEX and closed with Norbert Növényi Jr.'s decision over Theo Haig at middleweight after three rounds. Marcos Degli submitted Paris Moran at 4:46 of round two, while Damian Piwowarczyk stopped Emilio Quissua at 4:55 of round one. White signed six fighters from the card, including two coming off losses.

Why it matters: Contender Series deals go directly to the UFC roster, so a six-fighter class reshapes upcoming matchmaking. Signing two losers signals scoring of damage, pace and finishing attempts over the official result.

By the numbers: Növényi Jr. moved to 11-1, Dasuyev to 10-0, Degli to 15-3, Guaylupo to 12-0 and Piwowarczyk to 12-4. Finishes came at 4:46 of round two and 4:55 of round one, with three bouts going the full 15 minutes.

What to watch: Watch for debut dates and opening matchups for the six signees.
