Daniels, Golden gain value in Week 7 trade chart

Daniels threw 8 TDs in 7 games in 2025

What happened: CBS Sports analyst Dave Richard published rest-of-season rankings for Week 7. Jayden Daniels moved up at quarterback and Matthew Golden moved up at wide receiver. The update resets trade value entering the post-Week 6 stretch.

Why it matters: Rest-of-season value shapes buy-sell decisions as byes and injuries thin depth. Movement at quarterback carries outsized weight because production concentrates in few starters. Movement for a young wide receiver alters stash priority for the second half.

By the numbers: Jayden Daniels: drafted 2nd overall in 2024 out of LSU; 114 of 188 for 1,262 yards with 8 TDs and 3 INTs in 7 games in 2025. Matthew Golden: drafted 23rd overall in 2025 out of Texas; 29 catches for 361 yards in 14 games in 2025.

What to watch: Week 7 games will test both valuations ahead of the Week 8 update.
