What happened: Jayden Daniels could not get the ball off on the final snap against San Francisco. The 49ers brought three rushers and sacked him as time expired.

Why it matters: The pressure package decided the ending without extra coverage. Washington lost its final chance to extend the game on one snap.

What to watch: Washington moves to its next date on the 2026 schedule. San Francisco carries the late defensive stand into its next outing.
