What happened: Mills is in his seventh season with Houston after arriving as the 67th pick in 2021. He appeared in six games in 2025, throwing for 915 yards with five touchdowns and one interception.

Why it matters: Houston carries Mills as an experienced option in its quarterback room. Depth at the position carries weight across a 17-game schedule.
