What happened: Bo Nix's ankle status is a central question for Denver as Jonah Coleman works back from injured reserve. The Broncos are also sorting offensive struggles and Jonathon Cooper's role on defense.

Why it matters: Nix completed 388 of 612 passes for 3,931 yards with 25 touchdowns and 11 interceptions in 17 games in 2025, making his availability central to Denver's offense. Coleman, a fourth-round pick in 2026 placed on injured reserve Sept. 26, represents fresh backfield depth. Cooper made 50 tackles with 8 sacks in 17 games in 2025, anchoring edge production.

What to watch: Practice participation for Nix and any activation move for Coleman will clarify availability. Denver's next game will show adjustments on offense and Cooper's edge workload.
