What happened: Defensive coordinator Brian Duker said Dane Belton "has been awesome" following another full-time workload on defense. Belton played 100 percent of the defensive snaps in his most recent outing while logging zero targets allowed across 44 coverage snaps.

Why it matters: Belton has anchored the secondary since discussing his defensive role during training camp in August. Alongside his blanketing pass coverage, he impacted the backfield with four quarterback pressures, one sack, and four run-play tackles.

What to watch: Belton enters Week 7 of the 2026 NFL regular season maintaining an every-down role on defense.
