Reese totaled 43 touchdowns in 12 games last fall

What happened: The Palo Duro prospect chose the Blue Hens over UNLV, UTEP, Houston and other programs. Delaware recruited him as a quarterback rather than an athlete projected at another position.

Why it matters: Reese is the third blue-chip senior committed to a Group of Six program in the 2027 cycle. His pledge gives the CUSA program one of the cycle’s highest-ranked Group of Six recruits.

By the numbers: Reese is No. 399 overall and No. 28 among quarterbacks in the Rivals Industry Ranking. He passed for more than 3,000 yards and 31 touchdowns while adding 12 rushing scores across 12 games last fall.

What to watch: Reese begins his senior season Friday before the 2027 signing cycle moves toward its early period.
