What happened: Denzer Guzman hit his first home run of the season, according to the Angels' game update. The game is final, making the homer part of the confirmed result rather than a live-game development.

Why it matters: The swing gives Los Angeles another data point on Guzman's power as the club evaluates its young roster pieces. For a team trying to build consistency during the regular season, any production from emerging bats matters beyond one box score.

What to watch: Watch whether Guzman stays in the lineup and gets a longer run after the homer. The next box scores will show whether the power carries into a steadier role.
