What happened: Detroit continued its weeklong push around second-year wide receiver Isaac TeSlaa on Saturday, declaring the former Arkansas standout was born to be a Lion. The organization premiered its 'Journey to Detroit' installment on TeSlaa at 8 p.m. ET on Oct. 22.

Why it matters: The franchise has maintained confidence in the 2025 third-round selection (70th overall) throughout his second campaign. Head coach Dan Campbell publicly backed TeSlaa after an uneven August outing against Cincinnati, keeping him in the offensive plans even after he ranked among the wideouts with the fewest catchable targets in September.

By the numbers: Per ESPN (as of Sept. 29, 2026), TeSlaa recorded 16 receptions for 239 yards and six touchdowns across 17 games with Detroit in 2025, averaging 14.9 yards per catch.

What to watch: Detroit turns its focus to the upcoming division matchup against Green Bay after releasing its latest injury report.
