What happened: Ben DiNucci said "at some point, you have to question what's going on at that position" about Bo Nix's play thus far. The remark aired on NFL on CBS's Just Football program Oct. 14.

Why it matters: Starting quarterback play sets the ceiling for Denver's 2026 regular season. Continued criticism of a first-round pick increases pressure on the staff's evaluation at the position.

What to watch: Denver's coming games will show whether Nix steadies his production and whether coaches address the position publicly.
