What happened: The Dodgers posted their starting lineup ahead of tonight's road game against the Athletics. Los Angeles enters the matchup on a two-game winning streak, while the Athletics have dropped two straight.

Why it matters: The two clubs sit on opposite ends of the standings: the Dodgers are among the National League's best at 54-30, while the Athletics are below .500 at 40-44. A road win would help Los Angeles keep pace at the top, and the gap in form makes lineup construction a talking point for a team that has scored at a 5.3-per-game clip.

What to watch: First pitch and confirmation of both starting lineups will set the tone; watch whether the Dodgers' offense can extend its winning streak on the road.
